Shipping Chocolate
April 15-Oct 15
We ship chocolates year round but
in the summer it has to be done with care.
1) If you really, really want to
send chocolate when it is hot or to where it is
hot we will NOT send it UPS ground if it is traveling
further than overnight from us. We will automatically
upgrade your shipping at our discretion to Priority
Air Mail insured, ($12-18 depending on weight
and zone), with a signature necessary for delivery
so that the box won't just be left out in the
hot sun. And we where necessary we will box your
bouquets with cold packs in them and when it is
very hot we will pack them in our specially designed
insulated boxes along with the cold packs. We
take into account the temperature here and where
you are sending the bouquet to determine the shipping,
this is not a foolproof method so we suggest sending
hard candy bouquets if at all possible. The shipping
and handling charge for the insulated box with
a cold pack sent Priority Mail is the priority
mail price plus a $3 surcharge (also the cold
pack and extra shipping materials adds an extra
2-4lbs to the weight of the package).

3) Shipping chocolate in the heat will be at your
own risk we will not make refunds for melted chocolates
so we suggest that you choose hard candy bouquets.
4)Mug Bouquets generally will fit in the insulated
box but larger bouquets often won't, usually bouquets
over $40-50, those we will only be able to ship
if they can be made with all hard candy, if in
doubt call us.
5) We have a lot of experience with shipping chocolate
during the warm months and we are very good at
figuring out the best way to ship a bouquet, but
we can not guarantee against melting.
